Two of our hardworking parish councillors Dave Atkinson and Leighton Castle recently stepped down, which means we have vacanies to fill at Sutton Valence Parish Council.
We're seeking local residents who would like to help shape the future of the village by joining the Council. Parish Councillors play an important role in local decision-making, helping to maintain and enhance green spaces, act as a voice for residents around planning matters, press for highways improvements and address other issues that affect village life.
The role is voluntary, it can be hugely rewarding, and is a great way to use your skills, meet new people and make a positive difference to the community.
To find out more about what's involved and how to apply, see our Becoming a Parish Councillor page, or, if you would like an informal chat about the role, please contact the Parish Office on 07458095398 or email [email protected]
Remember, the Parish Council can only represent the community fully when local people step forward to get involved. Could you be one of them?
